OFFER YOUR TALENTS OR SERVICES!

Here are some examples of how your talents or services could help GPA Salt Lake and our greyhounds:

• Sew, knit, crochet, etc.: You could make and donate greyhound coats or sweaters, tag bags, martingale collars, leashes, dog beds, or dog blankets.  Maybe you’d be interested in selling such greyhound-related items through GPA Salt Lake and donate some of the proceeds to our group. Greyhound people are always looking for one-of-a-kind wearables, blankets, and throws.  Perhaps you could offer something special that would sell in an auction or raffle to raise funds.
• Take pictures: People always love a great pet portrait!  If you have a knack for photography and would like to help with this type of fundraising, let us know!
• Make Jewelry: Many greyhound lovers enjoy spoiling their hounds with a little “bling bling” now and then!  Maybe you’d like to make tag necklaces or fancy necklaces for greyhounds, or people-jewelry with a greyhound theme.  We could use such items for raffles or auctions, or you could try selling through us and donate a portion of the proceeds!
• Paint or Draw: A good greyhound painting or drawing is always a hot item!  We would love to be able to offer such one-of-a-kind pieces for a GPA Salt Lake raffle or auction.  Or perhaps you’d like to design a piece to be used by GPA Salt Lake for fundraising merchandise, printed materials, or on our website! 
• Create: If you are a “crafty” person and have an idea of something you’d like to make and donate, let us know!  Examples might be ceramics, stained glass, tiles, sculptures, stuffed animals, embroidery, etc.  We prefer something with a greyhound theme (us greyhound people are a little…um…obsessive about collecting greyhound stuff!), but would also love to hear about any interesting non-greyhound related items that you think we could use or sell.
• Other Services: We are in constant need of printing for brochures, business cards, adoption packet information, applications, flyers, contracts, etc.  From time to time we need help with transporting or grooming dogs.  Donated vet work is a tremendous help to our group!  Public relations or advertising type services would be a wonderful donation.  Perhaps your service would benefit by being sold or raffled.  If you can provide any type of service and are interested in helping or donating, please let us know!
