Downtown Farmers Market located at Historic Pioneer Park - GPA Salt Lake will have a Meet 'n Greet booth there on the following Saturdays: June 28, July 19, August 16 and 23rd. Hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come shop for fresh produce, visit the vendors and meet some fabulous hounds!

The Avenues Street Fair - Saturday, September 6th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please plan to attend Utah's finest community-based festival including two stages of live entertainment and more than 200 booths including the GPA Salt Lake booth! 

The 9th and 9th Street Festival - Saturday, September 13th from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Learn more about greyhounds or just meet some outstanding ambassadors and adoptables at this fun neighborhood event.

Meet n’ Greet

Come and meet some greyhounds!  GPA Salt Lake volunteers and their hounds host meet n’ greets on a regular basis where you can visit with the dogs and see for yourself just how calm, friendly, and wonderful they are.  We welcome you to stop by and chat, pick up a brochure or adoption application, or just enjoy some canine company for a while!

Walk n’ Talk

Meet greyhounds and their owners for a Sunday stroll at Liberty Park!  Local greyhounds and their humans meet each week (weather permitting) to walk around the park.  Whether you already have a greyhound or are just interested in seeing some greyhounds and getting to know the breed, everyone is welcome!

• As of June 1st our meeting time is 9:30 a.m.  We will usually wait around until about 5 minutes after, just in case there are stragglers!
   

• Enter Liberty Park using the North Entrance at 900 South 600 East.  Pull in and park as soon as you see a space.  Look for the greyhounds at the northernmost end of the park near the first section of parking spots as you pull in. 
   
• You will often meet lots of greyhounds at the walk, but there are times when attendance could be low due to scheduling conflicts or inclement weather.
   
• Non-greyhound pets are welcome to walk, but be advised that your pet may be overwhelmed being surrounded and sniffed at by 6 or more greyhounds.  (They always have to inspect the newcomers!)
   
• All pets walking need to be on leash and friendly with other dogs.  And don’t forget the poop bags!

GPA Salt Lake is happy to announce there is now another Walk n' Talk on Saturday mornings at Murray Park at 9:30 a.m. Enter the park from the east side of State Street at approximately 5130 South.
